Newcomers’ Committee Swinging Into Action on March 13th
Our newly formed Newcomers’ Committee is planning a number of activities and events to help move persons from being a “visitor” to being an active, involved and faithful “communicant” of Saint Timothy’s. The first work of the committee will be evident on Sunday, March 13th in the form of “greeters” at both the 9 and 11 AM services. They will be there to welcome people who are visiting Saint Timothy’s for the first time, make sure they receive information about the parish and know how to get to the Coffee Hour after the 11 AM service. It is incumbent on the ushers and all the rest of use to welcome newcomers and direct or introduce them to the “greeter”. Please help the work of the Newcomers’ Committee and don’t “leave it to someone else” to welcome those visiting for the first time.
