Welcome to St. Timothy's Episcopal Church. We invite you to join with us as you explore the benefits of Christian life and the fellowship that comes from being a part of our spiritual community. Whether you are a confirmed Episcopalian, confirmed as a member of another catholic faith or are new to Christianity, we are here to worship together in God's house and grow in His word. Please browse our Information at a Glance pages to learn more about St. Timothy's.

The Parish Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, December 7th following the 11 AM Service in the Church. There will be no Coffee Hour on that day; child care will be available. We really would like to have all parishioners take part in the Annual Meeting and exercise their privilege to vote on the business metters of the Parish and read the annual reports of the Parish organizations. One must be an adult (at least 16 years of age) and confirmed Communicant in order to be eligible to vote at the Annual Meeting.
All Parish organizations should complete a report that should be no longer than one double-spaced typewritten page. Annual reports are due in the Parish Office by Sunday, November 30th.

The Vestry designated Sunday, November 2nd as our Every Member Canvass Sunday. Many were here to offer their pledges in thanksgiving to God for the work and witness of St. Timothy’s through 2009. The canvass will continue through November and December, and if you have yet to pledge, please complete a pledge card from the narthex. We also have children’s pledge cards for those who are younger. The Vestry will follow up with phone calls and letters until they have canvassed the entire membership. This canvass will determine the strength and power of our witness through 2009. As of November 25th, we have 197 pledges totalling $285,017.20. Our goal is to have more than 220 pledges, so if you have not completed a 2009 pledge card, now is the time!

It is time to “Deck the Halls”!! The ECW will be selling pre-orders for North Carolina grown white pine and fraser fir wreaths of various sizes and roping/garland for your home or business. Pick up and additional purchasing will be available Sunday, November 30th and Sunday, December 6th during Coffee Hour. ECW cookbooks will also be available for purchase throughout the Advent season. There are great recipes from the wonderful cooks of the Church, and this would make an excellent holiday gift. Thank you for your support of the ECW.

We are looking for a person in the Parish who is willing to be trained in how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED). It would be good if this person has training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). We have access to two new defibrillators in the school building and in the gymnasium, and the Vestry is considering purchasing one for the Parish Hall and the Church. The person ought to have been trained in CPR, but if not, then that training can be provided as well. The school is setting up a training session in January, so if anyone is interested, please contact Father James (787-7590) or Lori Huber, the school nurse (787-1131 Ext. 1123).
