St. Timothy’s Youth Group invites all 6th-12th grade students to our first meeting of the year on Sunday, September 21st from 4 to 6 PM in the Parlor. Please join us for pizza and help us to plan for the year ahead! There will be a Youth Group leader in the Parlor following the 11 AM service on September 21st to meet with any parents or young people who have questions about the Youth Group. You may also contact Betsy James, Valerie Vreeland, Susn McKeown, Susan Flaugher or Alison Flaugher at any time. The Youth Group meets on the first and third Sundays of the month, and we focus on fellowship, outreach and worship. We are looking forward to a fun and exciting year!

The Youth Group will meet on Sunday, April 6th from 4 to 6 PM. All 6th - 12th graders are invited to join us.

The Youth Group will sponsor a breakfast on Sunday, April 6th from 10:00 to 10:45 AM. We invite everyone to come for a delicious start to the day and a chance for those who attend different services to come together for fellowship. This is a wonderful opportunity to have a relaxing Sunday morning and leave the cooking up to the Youth Group. This month we are featuring a new menu item - Sweet Potato Pancakes! This “secret” recipe was given to us by a chef from a famous diner in Blowing Rock, and you will want to try this tasty treat! Enjoy fellowship and a good meal while supporting a good cause!

The Youth Group will hold its next meeting on Sunday, March 16th from 4 to 6 PM in the Parish Hall and Parlor.

All parishioners should bring a lawn chair and join the Youth Group to watch the movie Amazing Grace about William Wilberforce, an anti-slavery pioneer, who wrote the hymn by the same name. We will see the movie on the large screen in the Parish Hall, and there will be no admission fee. The Youth Group will be selling pizza and light refreshments. This is a movie that will appeal to all ages and offers a great opportunity to come together during Lent and spend time with fellow parishioners.

Please mark your calendars for the Youth Group Breakfast next Sunday, February 3rd. The cost is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children. Come and visit with fellow parishioners and enjoy a hot breakfast cooked by the Youth Group! Breakfast will be served from 10 AM until 10:45 AM.

The Youth Group is sponsoring the North Raleigh Ministry’s toy drive and food drive this year. You may purchase a toy and leave unwrapped gifts for children under the tree. You may leave non-perishable foods in the designated bins tin the narthex.

The Youth Group will also host the Italian Night on Friday, January 11th. Put it down on your calendar and then come and enjoy a great Italian dinner and dessert, music and dancing.

The Youth Group will be sponsoring its monthly breakfast on Sunday, December 2nd before the Anual Meeting.

The Youth Group will be sponsoring the Episcopal Housing Ministry’s Angel Tree project again this year. If you would like to sponsor a child, please choose a name on Sunday, November 25th during the coffee hour. In addition, the Youth Group is sponsoring the North Raleigh Ministries’ toy drive and food drive this year. You may purchase a toy and leave unwrapped gifts for children under the tree. You may leave non-perishable foods in the designated bins in the narthex.

The Youth Group Members will host a parish breakfast as a fundraiser on Sunday, October 7th in the Parish Hall from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM. The cost is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children. Come and enjoy a great country breakfast, get to know your fellow parishioners and support the Youth Group.
