All Saints’Sunday will begin our Every Member Canvass. We are asking everyone at the 9 AM and 11 AM services to return his or her pledge card on that day. All children should come to the services with their parents. After the beginning of the service we will pray, have a moment of silence during which children will be able to complete a Children’s Pledge Card, and people who have not brought a pledge card will have an opportunity to complete one. We will then come forward and offer our pledges by placing them in the alms basin in the chancel. The Every Member Canvass is a way of returning thanks to God for all that He has done, and when we do that, the life and witness of St. TImothy’s Church will continue and flourish.
Welcome to St. Timothy's Episcopal Church. We invite you to join with us as you explore the benefits of Christian life and the fellowship that comes from being a part of our spiritual community. Whether you are a confirmed Episcopalian, confirmed as a member of another catholic faith or are new to Christianity, we are here to worship together in God's house and grow in His word. Please browse our Information at a Glance pages to learn more about St. Timothy's.

Holy Day Eucharist Celebrations This Week
Webwright
There will be celebrations of The Holy Eucharist on Monday, October 23rd and Saturday, October 28th, both at 12 noon. The celebration on Monday the 23rd will be for Saint James of Jerusalem, and the celebration on Saturday the 28th will be for Saints Simon and Jude. Saint James of Jerusalem, according to his mention in the Gospels of Matthew and Mark and in the Epistles, is either a brother, half-brother or cousin of Jesus. He is one of the original apostles and became, at a young age, the Bishop of Jerusalem. He converted many to belief in Jesus as the Christ and, having refused to deny Christ while preaching, was martyred by being thrown off the top of a temple and then beaten to death. Saints Simon and Jude, whom we commemorate next Saturday, are two of the original apostles. We know by tradition that they were apostles to Persia.

Children’s Chapel Volunteers Needed
Webwright
Volunteers are needed to lead our children’s chapel. We provide the sermon or story in a written format to follow. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your faith with the younger children of the parish. Psalm 78 commands that “we tell the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD, and His might, and the wonders He has done.” Come share 15 minutes and help teach the next generation at St. Timothy’s. Call Grace Hurst at 787-7590 X-1012 or send e-mail if you would like to help.
