After the Labor Day Weekend the Bible Study will return to the Church Parlor on Monday, September 10th at 7:00 p.m. Please bring your Bible and someone you know so we can continue the study of The Gospel according to John, led by John Buckelew.
Welcome to St. Timothy's Episcopal Church. We invite you to join with us as you explore the benefits of Christian life and the fellowship that comes from being a part of our spiritual community. Whether you are a confirmed Episcopalian, confirmed as a member of another catholic faith or are new to Christianity, we are here to worship together in God's house and grow in His word. Please browse our Information at a Glance pages to learn more about St. Timothy's.

Laura Munster is joining Grace Hurst in coordinating the Church School this year. Laura and her family are parishioners, and her children attend our parochial school. She is a former teacher and has lots of experience with both teaching Church School classes and regular classroom teaching and enjoys organizing and running events and activities for young people. She will be a great addition to the staff and a good help to all who have children in our Church School.
Volunteers are still needed to help in the Church School for this year. If you have not helped in past years, we need your participation this year. If you have any questions regarding St. Timothy’s Church School, please contact Grace Hurst at 790-1758 or ghurst@sttimothys.org or Laura Munster at LCMunster@nc.rr.com.
Please join us for a cookout celebrating the start of the Church School on Sunday, September 9th immediately after the 11 AM Service.

Bobby Asher Golf Tournament
Webwright
This year’s Bobby Asher Golf Tournament was a huge success due to the efforts of St. Timothy’s Men’s Fellowship. There were thirty-one players who attended and the net proceeds were $1,640.00. This amount will truly help a selected child from our Church attend St. Timothy’s School. Special thanks to Patty Asher and her family for being on hand.
The Men’s Fellowship is already working on next year’s event and looking forward to growing each and every year. If you would like to help this with this worthwhile next year please contact Warren Grant at (919)812-5727 or e-mail him at wgrant@capitalford.com.

Concert in Thanksgiving
Webwright
We are hosting what we call a Rejoicing Concert here at St. Timothy’s on Sunday, September 23rd at 4 PM to give thanks publicly for the restoration of our pipe organ. The concert will be given by our own Preston Smith, and we want all of our parishioners and their families and friends to come and give thanks with us. Join us too for a reception immediately following the concert in our Parish Hall. Please be there to rejoice in the completion of this work, and rejoice that our organ will now provide us with beautiful music long into the life of our parish. We are hoping to raise the funds to not only pay for the restoration of the organ ($20,000.00), but also to raise an amount to have an endowment that will ehlp with the upkeep and tuning of the organ. So our work is not done. Please attend the concert and bring your friends. We’ll have an afternoon of beautiful organ music by Preston Smith and help generations enjoy the fine organ music that we enjoy each Sunday.
If you would like to give a gift to help with the restoration, simply make out a check to St. Timothy’s Church and write “Organ Fund” on the memo line of the check.
