The Episcopal Church Women, St. Anne’s Chapter of the ECW, and the Men’s Fellowship cordially invite all parishioners to a membership breakfast on Saturday, October 20th at 9 AM in the Parish Hall. Come enjoy a delicious breakfast and then join the Men’s Fellowship or the ECW and St. Anne’s for an informational meeting. It’s a great opportunity to find out what these organizations are all about and what activities are coming up. For your convenience, babysitting services will be provided. Also, we would like to ask anyone attending to bring a canned or other non-perishable food item to donate to the North Raleigh Ministries. We look forward to seeing you there!
Welcome to St. Timothy's Episcopal Church. We invite you to join with us as you explore the benefits of Christian life and the fellowship that comes from being a part of our spiritual community. Whether you are a confirmed Episcopalian, confirmed as a member of another catholic faith or are new to Christianity, we are here to worship together in God's house and grow in His word. Please browse our Information at a Glance pages to learn more about St. Timothy's.

North Raleigh Ministries Update
Webwright
North Raleigh Ministries is so pleased to have a new volunteer coordinator, Cindy Whittington. She will be responsible for scheduling all the volunteers. Instead of having the second and fourth Wednesday and usually the third Saturday of the month, which are the times that we are assigned, Cindy will be arranging for us to volunteer at times that may be more convenient. We need volunteers from our church that will be willing to work at the various tasks which need to be completed. Pleas call Debbie Nicholas at the church and volunteer. Each church needs to have 16-18 volunteers to run the thrift shop and food pantry and interview clients to determine their needs. Please check your calendars. Even if it is only one day a month, please find the time to help.
We are also pleased that Bayleaf Baptist Church has joined our ministry, and we have included their zip code so to assist their neighbors in need. Trinity Baptist Church is starting an eight-week course called “Jobs for Life” starting October 17th to assist the unemployed to find employment.
During August, your generosity helped feed 135 families and provided over $5,000 in financial assistance to Progress Energy, PSNC and landlords. Thank you for donating your time, talents and resources to North Raleigh Ministries.
Christmas in August was a tremendous success! You donated AND bought beautiful Christmas items. We still have numerous large indoor/outdoor trees and wreaths as well as ornaments. Drop by and see the new items that have been put on the sales floor daily. Your willingness to share with our community is a wonderful witness to our neighbors.

St. Michael’s Day Events
Webwright
We have two special events planned for St. Michael’s Day (actually observed on the Sunday following St. Michael’s Day, September 30th).
Father Richard Martin will preach the Gospel with great clarity and purpose at the 11:00 AM Service. Father Martin comes to us from Durham; he has served parishes in Charleston, Boston, Washington, DC and State College, PA and has served as Chaplain at Penn State University and George Washington University. He is the author and editor of numerous articles and most recently is writing for The Anglican Digest.
At the Coffee Hour following the 11:00 AM Service, the Men’s Fellowship will present a check from the proceeds from the Bobby Asher Golf Tournament last month to the Asher Family. The check will be given to the Asher Scholarship Fund; the scholarship is awarded to a member of St. Timothy’s Church to attend Kindergarten at our parochial school.
Please come and give great praise and honor to Saint Michael and All Angels for their work of love in Christ’s name.

St. Anne’s Meeting September 12th
Webwright
St. Anne’s will have its first meeting on Wednesday, September 12th following the 10:30 AM Communion Service. We are looking forward to seeing each other after a seemingly short but very hot summer. Our luncheon meeting in May was so much fun with 14 members present. We increased the noise level at Winston’s by our conversations. We will continue our study of the women of the Bible and their contribution to our faith and their relationship with Christ. All women of the church are invited to attend. Bring a sandwich to share. The rest will be provided. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Playground Renovation
Webwright
Part of our property will be new and improved! Our parochial school is undertaking a project of renovating our playground at the corner of Six Forks Road and Rowan Street. Part of the project will require a retaining wall that will continue from along Rowan Street and along the front of our property facing Six Forks Road. The result of this construction should give us a safer and more usable playground, have the Church more visible from Six Forks Road, and give a unified and consistent look to the Church and the School. The inconvenience should be minimal, but we are going to experience some pieces of construction equipment on teh property for a few weeks or months. If you would like to see what things will look like, please find the architectural renderings in the Parish Hall by the bulletin board.
