St. Timothy’s School, our parochial school, will hold an Open House on Sunday, October 7th from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Please feel free to come and tour the School, see the work the children have completed, gather information and enjoy a relaxing time learning more about the excellent education we provide for hundreds of children each year. Please make it a point to bring your family and friends to see the School, especially those whol have children approaching kindergarten age and any other children who are in kindergarten through eighth grade.

On or around St. Francis Day, it has become a custom to bless the animals. St. Francis loved the natural world God created and loved all of the creatures in it. He saw nature as reflecting the beauty of its Creator and could see the loving will of God and His hand in all of nature. We will bless some of God’s creatures on Sunday, October 7th at 4:00 PM in front of the Church. If you have pets of any size or shape, please bring them to the front doors of the Church, and we will pray over them and bless them. Our pets and all creatures are dear to us, and we can give thanks that God has let us enjoy them and care for them.

The Youth Group Members will host a parish breakfast as a fundraiser on Sunday, October 7th in the Parish Hall from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM. The cost is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children. Come and enjoy a great country breakfast, get to know your fellow parishioners and support the Youth Group.

The Episcopal Church Women invite all women to join us for our meeting on Tuesday, October 9th at 7:00 PM in the Parlor. We will be finalizing plans for the membership breakfast and for the cafe we will run during the school’s upcoming Trunk Show. In addition, we will be discussing Chapter 4 of our book, Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World by Joanna Weaver. A light supper and dessert will be provided. We hope to see you there!
