The Table Fellowship Groups will have the end of the year celebration at Pullen Park on Friday, June 13th from 5 to 9 PM. Anyone who participated in the Fall and/or Spring rotation should plan to attend. We will be having a pot-luck/cook-out. Please plan to attend and bring your children or grandchildren. The menu will be determined in late May; however, we need to know who will be attending for planning purposes. The women of the ECW will be hosting the Annual Father’s Day Brunch on Sunday, June 15th. This has always been a grand event to honor the fathers of the Church. Pleas contact Cathy Elsea at cmelsea1@aol.com or 846-8114 to sign up for food items such as breakfast casseroles, muffins, sweets or fruit.

We still need volunteers to help with Vacation Bible School. The last organizational meeting will be Sunday, June 1st at 10:00 AM in the Parish Hall. We remember all those who have given their lives in service to our country while serving in the branches of our Armed Forces. May they rest in peace, and may we always be thankful for the liberties we enjoy by virtue of their sacrifices.

The first Sunday after Pentecost is Trinity Sunday. We are giving thanks for the Church’s teaching on the true nature of who God is and what He does. But in a deeper sense, we are doing more than simply thanking the Church for defining the true nature of God and how He exists as Three in One and One in Three. We are really giving Him the adoration and praise He deserves for creating, redeeming, and loving us now and forever.

St. Anne’s Chapter of the ECW would like to extend a very warm thanks to all bakers and buyers of our bake sale; it was a huge success. All proceeds of the sale go to the purchase of prayer books and hymnals for the Church.

Kyle Matthew Bandy is graduating from Green Hope High School and will be attending the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

Marlee Bourey graduated cum laude from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.

Beth Lewis is graduating from Leesville Road High School and will be attending North Carolina State University in Raleigh.

Carolyn Lewis is graduating from Leesville Road high School and will be attending the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Rachael Silberman will be graduating with honors from Leesville Road High School and will be attending The Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA.

Sunday, June 1st will be the last Sunday of Church School before summer recess and will be a Vacation Bible School theme craft Sunday. Children are encouraged to join their family in the Church during the summer. We will resume Church School on Sunday, September 7th. In celebration of the last day, the Men’s Fellowship Group will be hosting a cookout during Coffee Hour.

Hold that Date! June 6th - 7th is Vacation Bible School here at St. Timothy’s. Please plan to come and participate in our 2008 Vacation Bible School program, BEACH PARTY. We have changed our format to accommodate everyone’s busy schedules. VBS will meet Friday evening 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:30 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. We hope everyone will be able to attend.
