The people of St. Timothy’s are asked to help particularly on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month and on the third Saturday of each month. If you would like to volunteer for this good work to help the people of North Raleigh, please call Denise Crumpler at NRM at 785-9911. North Raleigh Ministries helps people who live in certain North Raleigh zip code areas by providing non-perishable food, fresh food (when available), and the everyday necessities of life. Families may apply for temporary emergency financial assistance, which may be granted following a thorough review. Financial assistance is used to pay for rent, utilities, fuel bills, medications and similar needs; no cash is provided directly to our clients. North Raleigh Ministries also refers clients to other private and public resources that can provide additional assistance, from employment opportunities to housing.
Welcome to St. Timothy's Episcopal Church. We invite you to join with us as you explore the benefits of Christian life and the fellowship that comes from being a part of our spiritual community. Whether you are a confirmed Episcopalian, confirmed as a member of another catholic faith or are new to Christianity, we are here to worship together in God's house and grow in His word. Please browse our Information at a Glance pages to learn more about St. Timothy's.

Christian Formation Classes I
Webwright
We encourage every parishioner to attend Father Martin’s Christian Formation Classes beginning Sunday, September 28th at 10 AM in the Parlor. If you are going to be confirmed in the Spring (Confirmation is May 3rd), if you are interested in learning more about the Faith, if you would like to learn more about how worship (especially eucharistically centered worship) is the center of your life, then you will want to be in this series of six classes. Father Martin describes the series this way: “The rhythm of Christian discipleship and daily living is between corporate worship in and through which the Church is constituted as the mystical Body of Christ, personal daily living, and a quality of life in which actions speak louder than words, in what Christians understand as ministry, witness and mission. Thus we will focus on the heart of the Church’s life, the Eucharist, beginning with a general review of the Book of Common Prayer.” Please remember to bring your Prayer Books.
- First Session: The Book of Common Prayer
- Second Session: The Christian Year
- Third Session: The Shape and Content of the Eucharist
Descriptions of the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Sessions will follow.

Our weekly Bible study meets on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 8 PM in the Parlor. Please come, bring your Bible, and please bring a friend. For the next few sessions we will be looking at where the teaching in the Creeds comes from in Holy Scriptures. We will also examine why this orthodox teaching is healthy for our souls.

Holy Cross Day
Webwright
Holy Cross Day is celebrated on September 14th because, on this day in 335, a basilica in honor of the Holy Cross and a shrine of the Emperor Constantine was dedicated after it completion. The complex of buildings, just outside of Jerusalem, was built on what was believed to be the site of Mount Calvary where Our Lord was crucified. We give glory and honor to the Holy Cross because it is on that Cross that He brought salvation to the world.
