The winner and still champion of the St Timothy’s Chili Cookoff is Mike Lewis! Last Sunday, Mike won the Cookoff sponsored by the ECW. There was extremely good competition and the contest was really “hot”, but after all the tasting and wonderful fellowship, Mike was declared the winner. Congratulations, Mike!

Forms for ordering Easter Lilies are enclosed in the bulletins. Each year people have the opportunity to give one or more lilies to decorate our Altar for Easter Day. The lilies are given in memory of departed loved ones, in thanksgiving for people or events or simply in thanksgiving for particular blessings. The names appear in the bulletin for Easter Day. Please take the time to complete the form and return it to the Parish Office by placing it in the alms basin as it is passed at the offertory or by mailing it to the Parish Office at P.O. Box 17787, Raleigh, NC 27619.

In an interest to support the food bank at North Raleigh Ministries, we are asking every child to bring at least one large jar of peanut butter to Church every Sunday in March. There will be a Peanut Butter Store open on Sundays during Coffee Hour for anyone wishing to purchase peanut butter to donate. Help share the joy of giving with your children during Lent. These jars will be taken weekly to the NRM food bank for distribution to the many people in need in our immediate area. Pat Baker, our contact person with North Raleigh Ministries, has informed us that there has been a great increase in people seeking assistance this winter.
