The Bible Study will take a break this week and will not meet on Wednesday, July 1st. When the Bible Study resumes on Wednesday, July 8th, we will be studying The Letter of James. Mary D’Rozario will lead the study and will be using a guide to The Letter of James from the Life Change Series published by Navpress. We hope that you will join us and that you will bring a friend.

Calling All Saint Michael’s Conference Alumni

If you ever attended Saint Michael’s Conference for young people, we are trying to get in touch with you! Saint Michael’s Conference is celebrating its Fiftieth Anniversary, and we want you to be there to celebrate with us. Please go to Saint Michael’s Conference, download a response card and return it to Father James at 2201 St. Mary’s Street, Raleigh, NC 27608. We hope all of the alumni and their families will join us on Friday, July 31st at 6 PM at The Church of the Advent in Boston for Festal Evensong and a reception, and on Saturday, August 1st at noon for a picnic at Castle Island in South Boston, where we will see Thompson Island where the conference began. We hope to see you at the 50th Anniversary Alumni Reunion. May Saint Michael and all the Angels of God watch over you.

Come Have a Great Time at the Trinity Center Next February

We have a hold on 10 rooms and one dorm (teens) for a weekend at the Trinity Center in Salter Path, NC between Atlantic Beach and Emerald Isle. The dates are February 26-28, 2010. Please sign up in the Parish Hall if you and your family are interested. The Trinity Center is located on the beach, andit is always a weekend of relaxation, fellowship and renewal. Even in February, we should be able to play games on the beach.

Summer Volunteers for Coffee Hour

Our pattern for the summer has been to have Coffee Hour hosts and hostesses on a volunteer basis through the month of July. If you would like to volunteer to host a Coffee Hour, please place your name on the sheet ouside the Parish Office. If no one volunteers, then there will not be a Coffee Hour on those Sundays.

Congratulations to Our Graduates

Teni Coker is graduating from Raleigh Charter High School and will be attending The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
William Miles Miller, the granson of Donald and Gloria Reale, is graduating from Pine Richland High School in Pittsburgh, PA and has received a full scholarship to attend The Honors College at the University of South Carolina.
Ashleigh Arden Kimmons, the grandson of Betty Dye, graduared from Hampden-Sydney College in Hampden-Sydney, Virginia.
