The Youth Group will attend Comedyworx followed by a lock-in on Friday, March 19th. We will also be cleaning the gym following Bingo Night as a fundraiser. Please remember to bring mops, snacks and movies. Youth Group members should call Mrs. James by Wednesday, March 17th to reserve a ticket for Comedyworx.
The Vestry will hold its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, March 18th at 6:30 PM in the Parlor. Vestry members are encouraged to come early and enjoy a light dinner together prepared by the talented hands of Beverley Brock.
The Pastoral Care Committee will hold its regular monthly meeting this Thursday, March 18th at 3:30 PM in the Parlot.
Beginning next Sunday, March 7th, and for the next four Sundays, we will have a food drive for North Raleigh Ministries. We held a food drive last Lent, and our turn has come around again. The food pantry at North Raleigh Ministries could use tomato products, soups, canned meats and desserts. Please remember – NO FROZEN FOODS OR ITEMS THAT NEED REFRIGERATION. Each year people have the opportunity to give one or more lilies to decorate our Altar for Easter Day. The lilies are given in memory of departed loved ones, in thanksgiving for people or events or simply in thanksgiving for particular blessings. The names will appear in the bulletin for Easter Day. Please take the time to complete the form and return it to the Parish Office.
St. Anne’s Chapter of the ECW will meet on Wednesday, March 10th following the communion service. Our business meeting will include continuing planning of our Bake Sale on Sunday, April 18th following both church services. All members of the church are welcome to contribute to the sale. The profits will be used to meet the needs of the church. All women of the church are welcome to attend the meeting. Bring a sandwich to share. Salad, dessert and drinks will be provided.
