We continue conducting our Every Member Canvass for 2011. “Thank you!” to every man, woman and child who has committed to pledge to Saint Timothy’s. It is always moving to see how many of our young children give regularly to their Church. If you have yet to complete a pledge card for 2011, pledge cards and envelopes are available in the narthex and can be placed in the alms basin during the offertory or mailed back to the Parish Office. Saint Timothy’s depends mainly on the giving of her faithful parishioners to meet the needs of the parish, so please know how important and helpful your pledges are.
In order to maintain the same number of personnel and programs that we enjoyed through 2010, we will have to meet our goal of at least 230 pledges with an amount of $321,500.00. As of Thursday, December 16th we have 234 pledges for an amount of $306,420.00. A number of persons have also revisited the amount of their 2011 pledge and increased the amount to help the parish meet its goal. There is great reason to give thanks for their help and commitment to the parish. We have a ways to go, but with everyone pledging and making a sacrificial pledge, Saint Timothy’s will be able to move confidently into 2011. Please help.
