Even if playing golf is not your thing, there are still several ways you can help:

• Help us promote the tournament among your friends, neighbors and office colleagues by forwarding this email or give them a flyer/registration form;
• Make a donation to support the tournament or North Raleigh Ministries. Make checks payable to St. Timothy’s Men’s Fellowship. See the attached flyer for mailing address.
• Volunteer (we could use registration and refreshment attendees, cart drivers, food servers, etc.)

Each BackPack contains:

• 2 cans vegetables
• 1 can fruit
• 2 cans of meat or meat stew (can of tuna, chicken, ravioli)
• 2 noodles (Easy Mac in the box – we will separate into individual packs, Ramen noodles)
• 2 100% juice boxes
• 3 boxes shelf stable milk (baking aisle)
• 2 healthy snacks (dried fruit, granola bar, Goldfish crackers)
• 2 breakfast items (oatmeal packet, small low sugar cereal boxes, breakfast bar)

Pop top and individual sizes are best. NO soft tops or high sugar items are allowed in the BackPacks.

Bishop William Gregg will be our preacher and celebrant next Sunday. Bishop Gregg, Assistant Bishop of the Diocese of North Carolina, will be making the bishop’s annual visitation to the parish. Please set aside Sunday, May 6th to worship with us, support the persons being confirmed at the bishop’s hands and welcome Bishop Gregg after the 11 AM service at the Coffee Hour.

North Raleigh Ministries has doubled the number of children for Backpack Buddies. We are now feeding 80 children per week. Backpack Buddies provides healthy food to hungry children at times such as weekends and school vacations when other resources are not available. If we do not have enough donations, the ministry is forced to purchase food, which is over $1,000 per week!

We are in need of the following food items: single serving breakfast items, 100% juice boxes, shelf stable milk, healthy snacks, canned vegetables, mac & cheese, canned chicken or tuna, and canned pasta. Food items can be taken directly to North Raleigh Ministries at 9650 Strickland Road in Raleigh.
