Sunday (10:00 a.m.)
Our primary Eucharistic celebration uses Rite 1 with sung service music and hymns. We meet in the church sanctuary and provide full service-bulletins for use during this service.
Wednesday (6:00 p.m.) - SUSPENDED IN JANUARY
In the mid-week we hold a second Communion service in the chapel using the 1928 Book of Common Prayer. This service does not contain music or a sermon. Prayer books are provided and attendees are welcome to stay after the service to join in our study group called "Deeper Dive."
Healing Services (2nd Sunday of each month at 8:00 a.m.) - CANCELED IN JANUARY
Once a month we have a special Eucharistic service in the church sanctuary inviting any who are troubled in body, mind, or spirit to come and be anointed with holy oil and prayed for through the laying on of hands.
Understanding worship at STC
According to the Book of Common Prayer, gathering for worship is about uniting together (as the Body of Christ) to acknowledge the holiness of God, to hear his Holy Word, to offer prayers, and to celebrate the sacraments.
Because God isn't just another person (but rather the Almighty Creator and Sustainer of all things) our worship of Him shouldn't feel like just another everyday thing. In our worship we seek to align ourselves with the traditions and practices of the Church Universal throughout its 2000 year history.
Can we pray for you?
Our worship is prayer: praise, adoration, thanksgiving, confession, and intercession. If we can be offering prayers for you or a loved one please let us know using the form below.
